James Jones Released By Chargers

Aug 29, 2016 10:11 PM

James Jones has been released by the San Diego Chargers.

Jones never seemed to become comfortable in the Chargers' offense.

Back in March, the Packers informed Jones that they would rather go forward with ascending receivers such as Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery, Jared Abbrederis and Jeff Janis.

Jones will likely be picked up by a team that loses some of their depth at wide receiver later in the season.

Mark Sanchez Likely To Be Traded Or Released By Broncos

Aug 29, 2016 1:07 PM

The Denver Broncos are trying to trade Mark Sanchez after Trevor Siemian won the starting quarterback job.

Paxton Lynch is the other quarterback on Denver's depth chart after he was a first round pick this season.

Sanchez could be released if they are unable to trade him as it would save $3.5 million in both money and cap space.

Sanchez signed with the Broncos this offseason after a successful stint with the Eagles.
